CologneOFF - Cologne International Videoart Festival
was founded in 2006 as Cologne Online Film Festival by Wilfried Agricola de Cologne as an initiative in the framework of VideoChannel..
While during the first five years the status of the festival was dominated by the “online” aspect, the change of the 2nd part of the festival’s name was necessary due to the changing status towards a physical festival with an online component.

Like VideoChannel, CologneOFF belongs to the spectrum of
N e w M e d i a F e s t - the new media festival environments on [NewMediaArtProjectNetwork]:||cologne - the experimental platform for art and new media.

CologneOFF is a new mobil type of film & video festival acting without a static festival location. It is organised simultaneously online and offline via partner festivals & cooperations. In this way, the festival takes place when a physical partner is hosting CologneOFF and this can take place anywhere anytime –> more
